Lions Automobilia Cruise and Tour

Lions was a famous and popular drag strip from 1955 to 1972 located in Long Beach, California.

In December 1999 a new museum was opened. It was opened for a short time and

infrequently off and on through Covid. It reopened in 2022. 

A "FEATURED CAR CLUB EVENT" has been arranged for Saturday, July 8th, 2023.

The museum has full size recreations of the starting line at Lions as well as a portion of the Long

Beach Grand Prix race track. Numerous car galleries are on display featuring many facets of the

early SoCal car culture. Some of the early equipment manufacturers such as Isky Cams, Keith

Black Engines, Ed Pink, Edelbrock and Moon are featured. There is an on-site restoration facility

including a custom paint and body department. A visit to this museum will certainly live up to

your expectations. It is first class.

We will meet at Zito's Pizza, rear parking lot, at 8:30 AM. We will depart for Lions at 9:15 AM

which is located in Rancho Dominguez. The museum opens at 10:00 AM. We will have a number

of parking spaces just outside the main entrance. A fast food eatery is located just across the

street. It has a large menu and large seating area for those wanting to eat lunch after the tour.

A liability form is required for each driver.

TICKETS- GENERAL ADMISSION $16. SENIORS 62+/MILITARY $14. You can register and order tickets by one of the following options:
